THE ULTIMATE GOURMET STEAKHOUSE BURGER
Elevate your home-made patties with this expertly balanced seasoning. The hint of chili and garlic powder creates a deep, savoury crust that rivals any high-end burger joint.
Equipment
- Bowl
- Griddle Pan
Ingredients
- 500 g High Quality Beef Mince 15/20% fat is best
- 2 tbsp Burger Seasoning by Goodness In A Bowl (see Notes below to shop)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (optional)
- 4 Brioche Bun
Toppings: Sharp Cheddar, Red Onion, Gherkins
Instructions
- Combine: In a large bowl, gently mix the beef mince with the Burger Seasoning and Worcestershire sauce. Do not overwork the meat; keep it light for a tender texture.
- Shape: Form into 4 thick patties. Use your thumb to make a small indentation in the centre of each—this prevents the burger from "doming" during cooking.
- Chill: For the best results, chill the patties in the fridge for 20 minutes to let the dried herbs rehydrate and the flavours meld.
- Sear: Heat a griddle pan or BBQ to high. Cook the burgers for 3–4 minutes per side for a juicy medium finish.
- Rest: Allow the burgers to rest for 2 minutes before placing them in the buns.
